Padma Karmakar’s works are autobiographical in nature and question the human conditions that we have created through our socio-political and environmental actions. Her recent works explore the feelings of isolation, fear, and disconnect from nature while living in an urban environment, during the cooped-up existence of lockdown due to pandemics.
