Description
My series, titled NISHCHAL, meaning unmovable, draws inspiration from symbols embedded in our ideology. Living in Rajasthan, I was captivated by folk deity temples scattered throughout, influencing my art evolution. Experimenting with various mediums, I incorporated abstract elements and symbolism to portray the evolving nature of worship. My work depicts contemporary worship practices, merging tradition with modernity, juxtaposing traditional temple settings with urban elements. Exploring the shift from worshiping nature to idol worship, I delve into the changing significance of natural elements over time and space. Influenced by Santiniketan during my Post Graduation, my art visually explores the convergence of nature, culture, and human resilience.
